KHURRAM BASHIR
DEPUTY CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Mr. Khurram possesses over 20 years of diverse experience spanning asset
management and FMCG. He commenced his career in 2006 as a Buy-Side
Analyst at KASB Funds, an affiliate of BlackRock Inc., eventually
transitioning into fund management where he successfully managed the
KASB Stock Market & Balanced Funds.
In 2011, he joined Nestlé Pakistan Ltd. as Treasury Manager, overseeing
critical aspects such as investments, debt, risk, and cash management, and
played a key role in integrating local treasury operations. His subsequent role
as Zone Controller further solidified his expertise in financial planning and
controls. Before his tenure as Deputy CEO at IMS, Mr. Khurram headed
Investment Advisory at MCB Funds, where he managed US$500 million,
including a leading life insurance portfolio. Under his guidance, these
portfolios consistently outperformed benchmarks and peers across equity,
hybrid, and fixed-income strategies (2015–2025), encompassing
Shariah-compliant mandates. He holds an MSc in Economics and Finance
from the International Islamic University, Islamabad.
Zulfiqar Ali, fca

Zulfiqar Ali brings a commanding presence to Intermarket Securities Ltd (IMS) as Chief Financial Officer, joining in August 2021 with over 20 years of illustrious experience in the banking and diversified financial sectors. His tenure as Deputy General Manager at Habib Bank Limited underscores his financial stewardship expertise, preceded by impactful stints at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Mashreq Bank, and MCB Bank.
A Chartered Accountant and Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Pakistan, Zulfiqar’s credentials are matched by his strategic acumen in shaping financial landscapes.

Muhammad Younus
Director Operations
Younus brings over 15 years of extensive experience in the financial industry, demonstrating a strong commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. His tenure at KASB Securities Limited, previously affiliated with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, showcases his expertise in managing custody and operations. Muhammad Fahad Zia
Head of Domestic Institutional Sales
Zia boasts over 15 years of extensive experience in Equity Sales & Trading, showcasing a profound understanding of market dynamics and fundamentals. His tenure as Head of Sales & Trading at Global Securities Pakistan Limited (formerly UBS Pakistan) from 2015 highlights his expertise in navigating complex market landscapes. Zia has cultivated strong relationships with domestic institutional investors, enabling him to facilitate large block trades and drive business growth.

ABDUL GHANI MIANOOR
HEAD OF RESEARCH
Mr. Mianoor brings over 6 years of valuable experience in the equity
market, having worked on both the buy and sell sides. He has been
associated with prominent institutions such as BSF Capital (via Leon
International), Faysal Asset Management Limited, and IMS.
Throughout his career, he has gained extensive exposure to both Pakistani
and KSA equity markets, developing a particular forte in the Energy chain
(E&Ps, Fertilizers, Petchems) and Consumer sectors. He holds a BSc in
Accounting & Finance and is currently pursuing the prestigious CFA
charter.
IBRAHEEM ABID MIR
Business Head North Region

His tenure as Deputy Head of International Sales at Foundation Securities highlights his expertise in servicing key international clients, including Macquarie Securities and Macquarie Bank. Yusra Beg
Deputy Head of Research
Ms. Beg has more than 7 years of work experience in sell-side equity research. Prior to joining IMS in 2015, Yusra worked as an Analyst at IGI Securities Ltd (a Packages Group company). She has covered several sectors in Pakistan but has developed a forte in Banks and Pharmaceuticals. She was ranked the Best Pharmaceutical Analyst in Pakistan by Asia Money two years in a row (2019-20). Yusra is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
